How well do you deal with loud folks? Face it, some folks talk a lot. You want to be on their clan battles team? Better be prepared to commit to all four nights of clan battles each week for the season AND a fifth night each week for team training.Ĥ. Unicom clans often demand hard commitments. How much time do you give the game? Folks with families, busy work lives, etc, may find some high end clans a bad fit. Not a good spot for a person that likes team play.ģ. Do you want to division with others? Some clans are little more than groups of solo players enjoying the base bonuses of clan membership. Do you PVE or PVP? If you PVE primarily then a clan wanting you to PVP with them is a bad fit.Ģ. Items to consider as you search for a clan…ġ. There are trade offs on every facet of a clan’s personality. The people in these groups often have similar real life situations, perhaps a common “age band”, social similarities, and game “accomplishment” desires. There is no easy answer and anyone trying to give you one is being disingenuous, since they don't know what it is you're looking for in a clan.Īs Lert says…every clan is different and has its own personality…because each clan is comprised of a group of people. We can't tell you what clans are good for you. Like, do you want to be competitive? Play a lot of clan wars, maybe even king of the sea? Are you looking for a more laid back, casual clan? Do you primarily play PvP or PvE? Are you looking for a group that swears as sailors or do you like a more friendly atmosphere? Do you want a rowdy bunch or a calm group? What time zones are you looking to play? What tiers? Are you looking for the socializing aspect or just farm more coal with clan buildings? So the only one who can answer the question "what should I be looking for" is you, since we can't tell you what is it you're looking for in a clan. I would be a bad fit for -K- for example, and they would not be able to offer me what I'm looking for, but I don't think you'll find anyone claiming that -K- is a bad clan. Since everyone has different wishes in terms of socializing, competitiveness etc, there is no one good answer for 'what makes a good clan'.
A clan is good when it offers the environment its members are looking for.
